The jurist Ulpian extracted three principles of Natural Law which would contain the Digest:
1. honest vivere: to live honestly.
2. neminem laedere: not to harm anyone.
3. Suuum tribuere cuique: to each his own.
Any of us could subscribe to these principles as Christians. My love to you through Natural Law comes to God. It is a universal law for all times and people. Many rulers have projects that are clearly and against natural law, create rules against Natural Law.
