Don Miguel Ángel Ruiz (nacido en 1952) es un autor mexicano, chamán, y maestro. Él había sido cirujano hasta que tuvo una experiencia cercana a la muerte que lo llevó a buscar answers in ancestral traditions of the Toltecs in which his mother was a healer, and his grandfather a nagual (or shaman) who, after death, continued to teach Ruiz in his dreams.
His most famous and influential work is The Four Agreements, was published in 1997 and has sold nearly 4 million copies. [1] was featured on the Oprah television program, [2] and undertook to personal freedom agreements and beliefs we do with ourselves and with others that create limitations and unhappiness in our lives. Finally, it is about finding one's own integrity, self-love and peace within this reality. The Four Agreements are:
1. Be impeccable with your words.
2. Do not take anything personally.
3. Do not make assumptions.
4. Always gives his best.
Ruiz also wrote a workbook as a supplement to The Four Agreements. He then wrote several other books, including The Voice of Knowledge, Prayers, and The Mastery of Love In Beyond Fear, Mary Carroll Nelson, he discusses some of his beliefs through a series of interviews, including his belief in the legend of Atlantis, his belief that the sun entered its sixth was the January 11, 1992, which should lead to a new era for humanity, and his faith in the spiritual power of the Pyramid of the Sun in Teotihuacan. He speaks English fluently. Often gives lectures and retreats in the U.S. phone. Many of his students are American. In 2002 he suffered a massive heart attack but has since recovered. He has given the Eagle Knight lineage to his son Don Jose Luis Ruiz.
